Excerpt from -Pain-
Long and bittersweet torture swells in your brain.
Gusts of needles echo through your lungs and shrink your heart,
exhausting you emotionally, while at the same time energizing your nerves to breaking point.
It grabs hold of you.
Excerpt from -Conflict-
Tears threaten my eyes every hour of the day
Every minute and every second
But once the dam has broken, it will need time to rebuild.
The emotions in me swirl and conflict with each other.
So many things at once are horrifying.
Excerpt from – In the Darkness-
I wish the light would burn bright.
And scare the bolins away at night.
Once more, I face this dread.
Of having to sleep in my bed.
Since 1989 Kimberly Johnson has loved not only reading books but imagining stories in her mind. She wrote a book at 9 years old called “The Pretty Princess” based on a game she played in the mornings while living with her cousins in California. The main character’s name was Allison and each of them would play the part of the princess (Allison) or the nameless prince and their subjects.
